    United Way brings communities together to find strength and share hope. It’s the way we rally in hard times to meet people’s needs so they can rise back up and build a better future. 

     

    UWMC's Agency Partnership

    United Way’s community investment goal is to fund specific and definable community impact areas linked to identified needs in the community.  Programs should be sustainable over time.  Agencies providing services shall be accountable to the community through their evaluation and reporting to UWMC.

     

    Program services not appropriate for United Way funding:

    • A service which is primarily formal education, public relations, concerned with the arts, religious, political, or any issue identified by United Way Marquette County as controversial in nature.
    • A service which does not directly benefit or directly enhance human service-related programs.

    Agencies will be excluded from admission if their admission would jeopardize the fundraising capability of United Way Marquette County for its Partner Agencies.

    Non-profit, 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organizations that provide human services in Marquette County may become Partner Agencies and apply for program funding from United Way Marquette County's campaign by submitting an application and being approved as a Partner Agency.  Only 501 (c) 3 health and human service organizations that provide services in Marquette County are eligible for Partner Agency admission to the campaign. 

    United Way Marquette County partnership does NOT guarantee funding.

  • PARTNER AGENCY PARTICIPATION

    UWMC expects Partner Agencies to participate as a partner. Funding application eligibility is based on 10 "Partner Agency Participation Requirements."

    Please review the the participation requirements here before completing the following section.

  • If accepted, will a representative from your agency be able to attend the annual partner agency meeting, currently scheduled for Thursday, August 6th, 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.?*
  • If accepted, will you allow UWMC to present information about its annual campaign to your BOD or staff?*
  • If accepted, are you willing to participate in UWMC campaign events, including kickoff and celebration, to the best of your ability?*
  • If accepted, will you include a UWMC logo on your published materials (e.g., newsletter or poster) and on your website?*
  • Are you and/or your organization currently registered on Yoopers United?*
  • Does your organization have a volunteer opportunity posted on Yoopers United?*
  • Do you anticipate completing a proposal for Program Funding in Spring 2027?*

  • ANTI-TERRORISM COMPLIANCE

    Annual Certification

  • In compliance with the USA PATRIOT ACT and other counterterrorism laws, United Way Marquette County (UWMC) requires that each agency certify the following:
