Alternate between generative writing sessions (garner new inspiration) and accountability sessions (make real progress on your current projects).
During generative writing sessions, we will...
- read and discuss short published works by master writers;
- pick up craft techniques and explore new genres/styles; and
- use guided prompts to start new pieces.
During accountability sessions, we will ...
- set our intentions for the 90 minutes;
- do a few 20-30 minute writing sprints (with the occasional 40 minute spring); and
- have genre-based, small group check-ins to discuss your projects, build individual relationships, and ask your writerly peers those questions you've been dying to discuss.
At the end of every session, we'll debrief how writing went. Writers will also have a few opportunities to share short excerpts of their work throughout the 14 weeks.
Please note that we will not workshop each other's writing in this writing group. Additionally, writers will not be expected to read or write outside of our sessions — although you are, of course, welcome to do so if you'd like!

OPTION 1: Pay Per Session
For writers with a busy/unpredictable schedule and writers seeking a looser writing practice, this is the most flexible option.
To receive the Zoom link, complete this form and submit payment BEFORE the session. Come to as many or as few sessions as you'd like and pay when you show up!
