Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Cary Tennis Classic! We are excited to bring this premier combined men’s & women’s Pro tennis event back to Cary Tennis Park! As a volunteer, you will be an integral part of this USTA Pro Circuit Men’s ATP 75 & Women’s WTT 100 Tournament
Opportunities include Court Concierge, Player Concierge, Court Usher, Ticketing, Tournament Check-In, Information Booth, Floater, and Assistant Volunteer Coordinator.
Court Concierge
- Ensure courts are well stocked before and during each match
- Assist umpire and players with any requests during the match
- Court concierge volunteers will be on-court with the players
Player Concierge
- Monitor player area
- Restock drinks and snacks as needed
Court Usher
- Direct spectators to seats at appropriate times during match play
- Ensure proper tennis etiquette
Ticketing
- Assist spectators with wristbands and check tickets for tournament access
- Assist ticket booth personnel and direct spectators to match courts
Tournament Check-in
- Check In volunteers
- Check-In ball persons
- Distribute shirts to volunteers
Information Booth Assistant
- Answer general questions (FAQ's provided)
- Hand out daily play schedule
Assistant Volunteers Coordinator (VC)
- Assist VC with volunteers
Floater
- Work with Stef and CTP personnel to handle miscellaneious things and be able to sit in for Court Conceirge or Usher when they need a break.
Specific job assignments will be given at shift check-in. Please note that volunteers may be asked to assist in other ways which may not be listed above.
Volunteers will receive a tournament t-shirt, free snacks and drinks, and one general admission ticket to Sunday’s Championship matches (one ticket per volunteer). Any volunteer who works two or more shifts a day will receive a meal. Also, volunteers who work three or more shifts will receive an additional ticket for a total of two tickets to Sunday's Championship matches.
TTE Members: You will also receive one Fast Pass (FP) to be used at any TTE event for each session volunteered for.
