This Veggie Van opportunity is open to the Barker community only.
To ensure that as many Niagara County residents as possible have access to the Veggie Van program, we kindly ask that participants register for only one pickup location and avoid signing up at multiple Veggie Van sites throughout the county. Registering for multiple locations may prevent another eligible resident from participating in the program.
If you are having difficulty finding a convenient pickup site in your area, or if you need assistance selecting the location closest to you, please contact Nicole Cyr at njc99@cornell.edu or 716-433-8839 ext. 238. She will be happy to help connect you with the most appropriate Veggie Van site and answer any questions you may have.
There is a limit of one bag per family. Our system accepts one submission per family; any additional submissions are automatically deleted. Please note that registration is limited and will close automatically when all spots are filled.
For pick-up we encourage you to have a reusable bag.
What to Expect at Pick-Up
When you arrive at the Veggie Van you will check in at the information table, where you will recieve recipes and other community program information.
Each item has a clearly labeled sign showing what the item is (milk, cheese, produce, etc.) and how many you can take.
For example, you might see signs like “Take 1” or “Take 2.” Just follow the signs as you go—no guesswork needed!
Everything is set up so you can easily grab your items and keep moving, making the process quick and smooth for everyone. Our knowledgeable Veggie Van Staff are present at the van to assist you with packing bags, produce, and recipe questions.
