• Hop N' Hog BBQ Competition Registration

    • Space is limited!  Priority will be given to 2025 participants, with remaining spaces filled on a first come basis! 
    • $125 Non-Refundable entry fee, made payable to Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI), must accompany the application.
    • All BBQ vendors can participate in up to four categories, being judged by KCBS standards, competing for cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights!  See boxes for entry categories and prizes.
    • Food vendors must acquire applicable Health permits & must provide liability insurance naming Culpeper Renaissance Inc. as co-insured.            
    • Application, menu, proof of insurance, truck/trailer/booth photo, and registration fee are due by July 24, 2026, in order to be included in promotional material!
    • Set up time for vendors will take place from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17. Exact load in time/location will be provided within two weeks of the event. Set up must be complete and all vehicles vacated from the festival area by 11:00 am, no exceptions.
    • You will be assigned a set-up location (12 ft x 12 ft) upon receipt of your completed application and fee.  If more space is needed—IT MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE!
    • Generators MUST be silent and MUST be approved (reviewed on a case by case basis.)
    • Vendor agrees to promote the event at every available opportunity, including place of business, social media and/or website. Your business will be included in promotional material when possible. Please email logo to crievents@culpeperdowntown.com. *Must be JPEG or PNG format.
