As we’ll be using the above YouTube links to shortlist your band, please keep the following tips in mind:

    -  This must be a live video recording.

    - Aim for the highest quality possible. Professionally filmed footage or a clear phone recording is perfectly fine.

    - Links can be public or unlisted, but if we can’t access the video, we can’t shortlist your band.

    - Please submit two full songs. Short clips or highlight reels don’t give the judges enough information to assess your performance.

    - It is highly recommended that at least one of the submitted songs is an original, as originality of music and composition is a key part of the judging criteria. Covers are allowed; however, at least one submitted song should be an original.

    - Where possible, film the live recording at a rehearsal or in a space with minimal external noise. Live performance footage is acceptable, but excessive crowd noise may impact the judges’ ability to clearly hear your band.

    - Check the rubric before submitting.
