  • A Sail Pass offers the opportunity for new and seasoned sailors who are not a member/affiliate of the club to crew aboard a member's yacht for Twilight Racing

    Wednesday Twilight @ Hollywell Sailing Squadron, arrive by 3pm
    Thursday Twilight @ SYC Main Beach, arrive by 2pm

    • Submission of this form does not guarantee your placement on a yacht, it is only confirmation of your availability.
    • Placement is subject to the Skipper's need for crew and at the Skipper's discretion.
    • Placement will be confirmed by 10am the day of racing by the Volunteers Coordinator. 
    • If you do not receive confirmation, there is no available crewing oppotunities that day.
    • You must be 16+ to purchase a SailPASS
    • A SailPASS is $20, payable on the day of racing, and can be used as credit towards club membership.
    • A maximum of 6 SailPASS can be purchased per person, before you must apply for membership to continue sailing.
    • Graduates of the Adult Learn to Sail course receive 3 complimentary Sail Passes and increase their potential crewing opportunities.

    I, {name}, understand that sailing can be a strenuous activity and I declare that I am physically fit to participate in every aspect of the activity and that I am aware of and accept all the risk of doing so. I agree that this indemnity extends to all Officers and agents of the Southport Yacht Club Inc and all organisations and authorities connected or concerned therewith. I agree to release, indemnify, and save from all liability, loss suits, actions, demands, proceedings, which arise directly or indirectly out of or are associated with my attendance on any activities with Southport Yacht Club Inc and any associated sponsors from any responsibility, liability and/or accountability concerning loss, injury, or damage while attending the Southport Yacht Club Inc except in respect of loss or injury due to or resulting from an act of negligence or breach of duty on the part of Southport yacht Club Inc, or its Officers, Staff, or Instructors.
