The Dr. Rose and Mary Wright Scientific Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding young woman pursuing a degree in science, preparing for a career in a scientific field, a science educator, or aspiring science educator. This scholarship recognizes women who demonstrate academic excellence, curiosity, leadership, and a passion for using science to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Whether through research, innovation, healthcare, environmental work, technology, or education, this scholarship seeks to support women dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and inspiring future generations. Special consideration is given to applicants who show perseverance, integrity, and a commitment to serving their communities through science and education.
