ENTRY PROCEDURE FOR 2026 NATIONAL RIFLE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

1. Priority entry is granted to:

• Competitors nominated as part of International and Australian Teams and ICFRA Pairs and Individual Championships Teams, followed by:
• International competitors travelling not as part of an official team.

2. Once all priority allocations have been confirmed, remaining positions in each discipline will be made available to NRAA members through an Expression of Interest (EOI) process.
 
The Entry window will open on 3rd AUGUST 2026. 
 
3. Target Rifle (TR), F-Class Open (FO) and F-Class Target Rifle (F/TR) competitors submitting an EOI will be considered based on:

• Availability of positions, and
• The competitor’s OPMP national ranking and performance history.

4. Submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a place. Entries will only be offered where capacity exists within the discipline.

• The EOI process is planned to conclude no later than 08:00AST Monday 31st AUGUST when any remaining places will be offered.
• A payment link will be issued as places are offered progressively. Full payment will be required with one week of the entry place being offered in order to confirm an entry.
• Competitors who are not allocated a position through the EOI process will be placed on a Wait List, ordered by the date and time their EOI was received. 

5. If an entry offer is declined or a cancellation is received, the person at the top of the Wait List will be contacted via the details submitted on their entry form, and will have 48 hours to accept a place in the National Rifle Championships. Failure to reply within this time will mean they are removed from the Wait List, and the place will be offered to the next person on the Wait List.
 
6. Cancellations of fully paid entries must be received via email to events@nraa.com.au by 08:00AEST Monday 31st August 2026. Cancellations made before this time will be fully refunded.
 
7. Cancellations made after the deadline do not receive any refund, unless we are able to reallocate the entry. If an entry is reallocated after the deadline a refund will be provided less a 10% admin fee.
 
8. Where a person on the Wait List accepts an offer made after 31st August, pays in full but then cancels, then the process at item 7 applies.
 
 

There is one grade only for each discipline TR - 'A' Grade, F-Open and F/TR. 

Special Kings "TRB" grade badges will be presented to the top 5 "TRB" Grade shooters in the Kings Aggregate. No other awards will be presented for 'TRB"

For Target Rifle (TR) this is ‘A’ grade as per SSR Part 1 section 4 SSR PART 1-7_ All Chap_v2.0_Jan 26. There is only one grade for each of F-Open and FTR.

Overseas competitors may apply to shoot in TR ‘B’ grade if they are under 25 on the last day of the Championships (Friday 16 October), are not a member of an Open/Senior national squad and can demonstrate entitlement to the equivalent of TR ‘B’ grade in their own national classification system or by reference to verifiable performance in formal competition if their country does not have an equivalent of NRAA grade.

Proof of such national classification or verifiable performance will be required and must be forwarded separately by email to events@nraa.com.au prior to the final date of the EOI. The NRAA Grading Officer will award an NRAA classification valid for the Meeting, using their best judgement as to the appropriate grade. Any uncertainty as to classification will be resolved by placing the competitor in the higher grade.

Persons who are financial members of the NRAA (this includes persons who have been granted International Membership of the NRAA), acknowledge and consent to the taking of photographs and electronic images at NRAA shooting events/matches/competitions and other activities during the period of their membership.   

Photographs and images may be used by the NRAA for promotional, marketing or other purposes and to promote the sport of target rifle shooting in general. These photographs and images may continue to be used by NRAA beyond the period of membership. For more detail refer to the NRAA Social Media Policy.   

NRAA has a range of Policies which are applicable to National Rifle Championships entrants. 

Entrants into the NRAA 2026 National Rifle Championships agree to comply with the National Integrity Framework polices, NRAA Code of Conduct, Social Media Policy and other relevant policies as applicable. The Policies can be viewed here and click on Policies.

Please select the Matches that you wish to enter. Your expression of interest will then be assessed against the criteria above. 

Competitors under 25 years of age prior to Friday 16 October are eligible to receive discounted entry.  Please be sure to select the correct macthes below to ensure you receive half price entry.

Match entry fees are shown below to assist in submitting your expression of interest. On offering you will be sent a payment link, which will then include 1.7% processing fees and a $0.30 transaction fee.
