🛹 STREET - Beginner Division

New to competitions or still building confidence? This division is for skaters who can comfortably cruise around the park and tackle smaller obstacles, banks, ramps and features. It's all about having fun, learning and giving it a go!

🛹 STREET - Intermediate Division

Intermediate skaters are confident across most areas of the park and can land a range of basic tricks on different obstacles. If you're starting to link tricks together and push your progression, this is your spot.

🛹 STREET - Advanced Division

For experienced skaters who are confident on all obstacles and can perform a wide variety of tricks throughout the park. If you're regularly challenging yourself with bigger lines, technical tricks and consistent runs, the Advanced division is for you.

🛹 BOWL - Beginner Division

Competitors should be comfortable dropping in at 6 foot and carving into the deep end of the bowl. This division is suitable for anyone who is working on their turns and might have a few tricks on coping.

🛹 BOWL - Intermediate Division

Competitors should be comfortable dropping in and carving at height, generating speed and flow in the bowl both backside and frontside. Suitable for skaters who are comfortable doing tricks on coping at at-least 6 foot and can link tricks throughout the bowl.

🛹 BOWL - Advanced Division

Competitors should be comfortable dropping in at 10 foot, maintaining full speed and control throughout the bowl, linking tricks and lines and should be comfortable performing tricks on and over coping.

 

The BOWL competition will run as an organised JAM where judges will decide winners by overall impression. This event is based on friendly competition, inclusion and good vibes 🤙

WAIVER OF LIABILITY – SKATE CLUB EVENT

WARNING: THIS ACTIVITY IS A DANGEROUS RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY AS DEFINED IN THE CIVIL LIABILITY ACT. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND SIGN THE FOLLOWING. MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB offers the possibility to take part in the activities of SKATEBOARDING where the enjoyment is derived in part from the inherent risk of participation. Competitors are required to wear relative safety/ protective equipment at all times. This event is fully covered by public liability insurance. However, when safety procedures are not followed, the risk associated in participating in such activities is increased. IMPORTANT: Safety instructions must be followed. Your signature on this form is required for you (meaning you and any children who are participating under your responsibility and whose name has been written below) to participate in the activities offered by the MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB.

I Hereby acknowledge that I have been advised and thoroughly informed of the risks of the activity.

In particular, I acknowledge that:

• Nothing in this form excludes, restricts or modifies any condition, warranty, right or remedy, implied by any statute or regulation that cannot lawfully be excluded,
restricted or modified as contained within the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
(commonwealth), formerly the Trade Practices Act which may include Part V of the
Trade Practices Act 1974 (commonwealth) and corresponding provisions of State or
Territory legislation. All express or implied representations, conditions, warranties and provision, whether based in Statute, or otherwise relating to provision of products and services pursuant to all contemplated by this document that are not contained within these terms are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

• I am required to wear approved safety equipment (Certified Helmet, knee pads and elbow pads at minimum) while participating in this event.

• I am responsible for the full application of the safety rules and for ensuring
children/youth in my care follow the safety rules and are behaving appropriately.

• I am aware that there are Instructors available to answer any questions that I have as to the proper use of equipment. MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB will rely on this declaration and are not responsible for my decision to participate in the activities.

• While participating at a MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB EVENT, I am participating at my own risk.

• I hereby release and hold harmless the MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB, MEMBERS THEREIN and its principals, servants and/or agents from any suit, demand or claim whether present, future or contingent arising as a consequence of and not limited to death, injury or disablement received by myself/my children during the participation in the said activities.

• I allow THE MID NORTH COAST SKATE CLUB to use any video footage and
photographs taken during my experience and consent to the use of the participants
name, likeness, voice, biographical material in connection with CLUB & EVENT websites and social media. The ownership and copyright to the video and photographs will remain with remain with the club.

• I further state that I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this waiver, or that I am legally competent to sign this document as a parent/ guardian. I understand that the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital and that I have signed this document of my own free act.
