  • Application for admission to Chamber Music | OC's 2026/27 Pre-College Program. All applicants, including returning participants, must complete an application form, pay the $60 application fee, and submit a live audition video recording.*

    * Returning 2025/26 season applicants do not need to submit an audition video recording.

  • TUITION

    There are four curriculum options available:

    • Full Track: $3,575/year (chamber music training + 3 Elective classes)
    • Partial Track: $2,975/year (chamber music training + 1 Elective class)
    • Honors Ensemble Track: $2,775/year (chamber music training for advanced students with emphasis on competition participation)
    • Sonata Duo Track: $1,575/November-April (weekly participation in Sonata Class during Terms II and III only on Saturdays 12:00-1:00 PM, open to Junior and Senior instrumentalists only)

    Limited partial financial aid packages and installment payment options are available based on merit and need. Additionally, Chamber Music | OC offers limited internship opportunities to qualifying Pre-College students seeking supplemental financial aid.     DEADLINES

    Complete applications, including audition video, must be received by Friday, August 14th, 2026. Late applications may be considered, space permitting.

    To qualify for the Early Bird Discount * ($400 tuition reduction), submit your application by Friday, August 7th, 2026.

    * Sonata Duo Track applicants and Most Improved Student award recipients from 2025/26 season are not eligible for Early Bird Discount

  • REQUIREMENTS

    Step 1. Live Video Audition.*

    * Returning 2025/26 season applicants, please skip to the end of the page.

    1. Record a live video that includes the following:

    • Applicants must record a live video featuring two contrasting pieces of their choosing (up to 10 minutes long)
    • Applicants applying for the Honors Ensemble Track must record three contrasting pieces (up to 15 minutes long)
    • Cuts are encouraged in order to fit within the given time allotment - no piano accompaniment is necessary, and memorization is optional
    • Pieces cannot be edited and must be performed continuously without interruption

    2. Applicants: Immediately following your performance (recorded without interruption), please provide a brief response to the following questions:

    • Tell us about your extracurricular activities/weekly time commitments. What else do you like to do in addition to studying music?
    • Are you interested in studying music in college?

    3. Save your video and submit a link using one of the following:

    • Google Drive
    • Dropbox
    • YouTube (unlisted)

    Step 2. Submit this application by the deadline(s) on the previous page.

    Important Reminders and Tips:

    • Please note that the application cannot be processed without the submission of the Live Video Audition recording
    • Video recordings do not need to be of professional quality - using a smart phone or a computer is acceptable
    • Record your video using high quality that allows for the best possible sound
    • Adjust your camera to fit the entire body
    • Please dress appropriately
    • Be sure to watch the video all the way through before uploading it, and check for proper privacy settings
    • Make sure your video can be viewed by anyone with the link
