PURPOSE: The Accounting Administrator will provide essential support to the finance and administrative functions in accounting section. This role ensures smooth financial operations, compliance with industry regulations, and efficient coordination between accounting section and respective stakeholders of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with SAP system in account payable and accounting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Support
· Assist in recording invoices and maintaining financial records and ensuring record accuracy.
· Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries for any adjustments.
· Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
· Assist in the monitoring of accounts payable and reconciliation of vendor's accounts.
· Assist superiors in finance project assigned and ensure timely completeness.
2. Administrative Duties
· Collect, organize and file finance-related documents.
· Coordinate with supply chain management team and respective user departments to ensure timely processing and recording of invoices.
· Daily recording details of the invoices received in the account payable’s invoices tracking list.
· Handle correspondence from suppliers and timely update supervisor if there's any issues or discrepancies.
3. Compliance
· Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and industry-specific regulations. (e.g. Safety)
· Assist in preparing documentation for government reporting, subsidies, and or tax incentives etc.
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum Higher National Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of SAP system and MS office suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a plant environment.
- Team-player with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
