United Way of Galveston is hosting the Galveston Nonprofit Preparedness Roundtable for Galveston nonprofit, faith-based, and community-serving partners.
The roundtable will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. at Moody Methodist Church, with coffee and networking starting at 9:30.
All attendees should RSVP no later than noon on 6-15-26.
This practical pre-season conversation will help strengthen nonprofit coordination before hurricane season progresses. The goal is simple: contact list, capacity scan, communication plan, and next steps.
Participants will discuss who needs to be in the nonprofit disaster coordination loop, what organizations may be able to provide before, during, or after a disaster, how partners should communicate during response and recovery, and what next steps should be taken to improve readiness across Galveston.
Please complete this short RSVP to let us know whether you plan to attend.
Special Note: If your organization has not yet completed the separate Galveston Nonprofit Network form, please complete that form as well so your organization’s contact, service, and capacity information can be included in the coordination map.
