Bradford Industrial Museum - based in what used to be Moorside Mills in Eccleshill. It was originally built around 1875 as a small worsted spinning mill. The mill was bought and sold many times over the years as it grew and grew.
In 1974, Bradford Council created a unique museum, which now contains permanent displays of textile machinery, steam power, engineering innovations and motor vehicles.
The museum will be celebrating Yorkshire Day on Saturday 1st August 2026 with a range of site wide activities, including Shire Horse demonstrations, family street games, clay craft activities, costumed volunteers, working blacksmith, food and drinks, live music and more!
The Made in Bradford Makers Market will form part of the celebrations, and will be complimented by the ongoing "Made By Many Hands" exhibition, which celebrates some of the many crafts that have taken place in the Bradford District over the years, and will be on display until mid November.
The event will be open to the public from 11 am until 4 pm.

Stalls are charged at £50 for the day (price inclusive of approximate floor space of 8x4 ft, including a 6x2 ft table and up to 2 chairs if required.)
Successful applicants will receive a letter of confirmation of their stall by 1st July 2026.
All payments should then be made by Friday, 10th July 2026 (please do not send any form of payment until it has been confirmed that you have been allocated a stall).
If payment is not received by 10th July 2026 the stall will be given to the next person on the waiting list.
At such a busy event, it is important that everyone works together to ensure that the event is safe and accessible to all.
