• Financial Literacy and the Path to Financial Fitness

    UTD Professional and Personal Learning Session
  • Participants will build personal financial management skills by tracking daily spending and developing a personal budget to promote fiscal responsibility. The session will introduce key financial literacy concepts such as budgeting, saving, spending, and investing, while examining how financial decisions impact the economy at the local, national, and global levels. Participants will also learn about programs that can help manage or reduce student loan debt. Additionally, participants will collaborate to create lesson plans and identify resources to help students understand the importance of financial literacy in their everyday lives.

    *Individuals may sign up for ONE session only, and that selection cannot be changed, so please choose carefully.

    *Some session locations are still TBA, however, once sessions are showing in the M-DCPS PLMS you may be able to make changes on your own.

    *UTD does not maintain waiting lists. Once a session reaches capacity, additional participants cannot be added.

    *If you withdraw from a session, you will not be re-registered.

    *If multiple selections are made, you will be randomly registered for only one of your selections.

    *Repeated withdrawals or no-shows from UTD sessions may impact future registration and participation opportunities.
