Jason Mitchem was raised on a working farm in Fort Valley, Georgia. He has had a life filled with unique experiences and personal hardships. He learned the value of hard work early, bailing hay, tending livestock, and working in the family farm equipment business. That gave him a deep appreciation for both the land and the people who live from it. He has always had a love of the outdoors and hunting.
Ministering for the past 30 years, with his first sermon at age 15, he was co-founder and lead pastor of a church in Augusta, Georgia. Following the loss of his wife of 30 years, his son took over as lead pastor. He is Dad to his son Devin and daughter Jaysa, and Papa to Jovie age 4 and Graham age 1.
Today, Jason lives in Johnson City with his wife Tina and stepchildren John and Ari. He currently specializes in buying and selling land for Midwest Land Group. He loves taking clients up mountains and over creeks with his side by side and sharing his love of the land. He is also a licensed pilot, author, outdoorsman, grandfather, and a man of strong faith who strives to lead with integrity in every area of life. He remains committed to the Lord and loves to share his story.
