Brothers! There is nothing quite so amazing as singing that with Deerfoot brothers around the camp fire and hearing the echo off of the surrounding mountains! Can you still hear it?
Deep within us, our time at Deerfoot has formed us and impacted us in such a way that we still hear many of the things we did as campers, staff, volunteers. God has given us all Deerfoot Lodge to serve as a reminder, an Ebeneezer, to recall His graciousness to us and to live accordingly as God's man all the days that He gives us.
Gathered Round is an opportunity to set foot back on the property of Deerfoot Lodge - not as a worker, but as someone who can benefit from a weekend with feet on the ground and hearts connected with one another.
The weekend will give opportunities for Deerfooters to sleep in a DL cabin, eat in the DL dining hall, hike some of the surrounding trails, and canoe in the lake or shoot a few arrows at a target!
This year, all that will take place on the beautiful terrain of Deerfoot Lodge Blue Ridge!
