WHO IS FREEDOM?
Freedom joined the Womanition Community in 2025 to grow and expand her new entrepreneurial business journey. Although her time in our community was cut short, due to her unexpected passing, Freedom made a lifelong impression on all who had the privilege to call her friend. In honor of Freedoms zest for learning and mentorship, this scholarship has been created and made possible through Womanition Inc. "Women in Process", and dedicated to Freedom Adams in her memory.

Potential hopeful applicants are encouraged to apply for the first inaugural (group) Freedom Scholarship Program.

This is a 12 hour mentorship program over a six month period. Tentative Program scheduled criteria is as follows.

ALL SESSIONS ARE FROM 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - to start January to June 2027

These mentorship sessions are "in person" Classes held at Headquarters Restaurant 101 Granada Blvd Sherwood Park. Each class will be conducted by a seasoned woman entrepreneur on various subjects.

Examples are: Sales & Marketing, Client and Customer Service Excellence, Finance, Budgets, Systems, Brand Development, Professional Image and Speaking with Confidence to name a few!

ELIGIBILTY: WHO SHOULD APPLY? WHO QUALIFIES AS AN APPLICANT

You are a new business? If you are considering starting your own business or have been in business for less than 6 months or less and you must be a minimum of 18 years of age. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU!

Provide a brief and specific description of your new business or the business you are planning to launch or advise us if you are interested in personal development growth opportunites at this time.

Estimated Program Value is $10,000.00

WRITTEN REPORT

Please limit your written report response below to a maximum 150 words for each question or less regarding the topics/questions asked of you. Please answer precisely and honestly, telling "your story" so we may better know your vision, mission and desire to grow your personal development and opportunities.

Freedom Mentorship Scholorship Program Criteria

Your complete application must be submitted electronically by 12:00 Midnight on Saturday, August 1, 2026

Once your completed application is recieved by us, you will recieve an email reciept acknowledgement. Should you become one of our 20 finalists, you will recieve notification for an in person interview with our Panel of Judges by August 15, 2026. Interviews will take place between August 24th - 28th 2026.

Qualification Criteria

In order to qualify for the Freedom Mentorship Scholorship Program, and by signing this application below, I agree, and understand I must be available to purchase a ticket and attend the 11th Annual SuPEARLative Awards Gala recognition event taking place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre, 118 Street & Kingsway Ave, Edmonton, Alberta. All Freedom Mentsorship Scholorship successful recipients will be annouced and awarded on this occasion. YOU MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE!
