F.A.C.T Program: Fashion, Art, Chemistry, and Technology
The F.A.C.T program empowers girls to explore Fashion, Art, Chemistry, and Technology while making a positive impact on the environment. We are encouraging girls to bring a few of their unwanted garments to transform into wearable art and other creative projects. Through hands-on creative projects, participants help reduce clothing waste in landfills by repurposing garments that are too small or no longer wanted.
Girls will transform unwanted clothing into fashionable new creations such as purses, shoe coverings, skirts made from jeans, and stylish wearable art pieces. Along the way, they will incorporate art, technology, and chemistry to design imaginative projects that celebrate creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
The program will be held at Microsoft.
