The “What’s Your Why” Scholarship was created to recognize young women who lead with purpose and passion. In a world that often prioritizes achievement over intention, this scholarship honors individuals who understand the deeper reason behind their goals, their “why.” Whether rooted in personal experience, service, or a vision for the future, a strong “why” fuels resilience, leadership, and meaningful impact.

This scholarship aims to invest in candidates who are not only driven to succeed, but who are committed to making a difference in their communities and beyond. By encouraging self-reflection and purpose-driven action, “What’s Your Why” celebrates authenticity, perseverance, and heart.

Applicants for the “What’s Your Why” Scholarship must:

* Demonstrate a clear sense of purpose and personal motivation behind their goals
* Exhibit strong character, integrity, and leadership within their school or community
* Be actively involved in service, advocacy, or extracurricular activities
* Submit a brief written or verbal response answering: “What is your ‘why,’ and how does it shape the way you lead and serve others?”
* Show a commitment to personal growth and making a positive impact

Application Requirements

To apply:

* Post your video OR a complementary piece of content (reel, carousel, or TikTok-style video) on a public platform (Instagram preferred)
* Include a caption that summarizes your “why” and its impact
* Use the hashtag: #WhatsYourWhyScholarship
* Engagement is not the deciding factor, but effective communication and outreach will be considered
