Scholarship Qualifications & About: 

Some hearts are naturally drawn to care. They don’t just see what is
easy to love, they see what is overlooked, what is waiting, and what
deserves a second chance. This scholarship celebrates that kind of
heart. Presented by Keith and Larry Cannon, the Paws and Purpose
Scholarship honors their beloved cats, Bubba and Tiger, whose lives
reflect the joy of being chosen and loved.

This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Miss Texas Teen contestant
who leads with compassion, serves with intention, and believes
kindness should be lived out loud.

Application Requirements

TWO APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Paws with Purpose Creative Social Challenge:

Create an Instagram or TikTok post that brings your version of
compassion to life. Creativity is encouraged through video, storytelling,
photography, or performance. Your post must:

- Show kindness, service, or meaningful impact in action
- Include a reflection on why selfless acts of kindness are important and how they can create second chances for those in need
- Be authentic, expressive, and positive
- Tag and follow: @boycatduo on Instagram and TikTok
- Use the hashtag: #PawsWithPurposeScholarship
