  • VBS Kids Adventure Camp is packed with Bible stories, crafts, music, games, and snacks—all designed to help children grow in faith while having a blast.

    Join us as we trek through RAINFOREST FALLS - Exploring the Nature of God!

    We welcome children ages 4 through Grade 5 (entering Sept 2026). All campers must be potty-trained.

  • Snacks are provided to children each day during VBS Kids Adventure Camp. 

    We have a fun selection of snacks for children during their designated snack time (approx. 10 minutes). Snacks will include a mixture of healthy offerings (fruit and/or vegetables), a fun themed snack (ie. "Ants on a branch" - chocolate covered pretzels with raisins), and usually Goldfish crackers or similar. Water is also served during snack time.

    Snack time is monitored by our volunteers, and they encourage a balance of the snacks provided. Please note: these mid-morning snacks are not a substitute for a child's breakfast or lunch.

    Our VBS Kids Adventure Camp is planned as a full-week journey, with each day building on what was discovered the day before. We know summer can be full, but we encourage families to register only if their child can attend most of the week (ideally, all). Since spots are limited, partial attendance can mean another child misses out.

    We appreciate your help in making this experience available to as many kids as possible.

  • Closing Celebration + BBQ

    There's no better way to wrap up a great week of VBS Kids Adventure Camp than to have a closing celebration and family BBQ!

  • Friday, July 10th

    • 11:30am - Closing Celebration Program... join us in the Sanctuary to hear about what we did and learned this week!
    • 12:00pm - Family BBQ... join us on the patio for a delicious BBQ lunch!

    Please note: children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to participate in the BBQ.

    To help us prepare enough food, please let us know how many adults and children will be attending the BBQ (or may attend, if you selected “unsure”).

    We’d love to include your whole family—children who are not able to attend VBS because of age are welcome to join you for the Closing BBQ.

  • We will do our best to accommodate all food sensitivities; however, BBQ attendees should understand that cross-contamination may occur and some sensitivities may be difficult to accommodate. You will be contacted if the listed allergy/sensitivity cannot be accommodated.

  • VBS Kids Adventure Camp is free to attend.

    Each child's experience costs approximately $50 for the whole week, covering games, crafts, snacks, and faith-building moments they'll never forget. If you would like to help us cover these costs, please consider providing a donation today!

  • Policies, Permissions, Releases, and Consent

  • PROGRAM HOURS: 

    Programming runs daily from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

    Drop-Off:

    • Day 1 (July 6): Doors will open at 8:35 AM to allow time for first-time check-in and to help children find their assigned Group.
    • All Other Days: Doors will open at 8:40 AM.

    Pick-Up:

    • All children must be picked up promptly at 12:00 PM each day.
    • All children in must be picked up directly from their Group Leader.
    • No child will be permitted to exit the building without a parent or guardian present.

    If a child is not picked up by 12:15 PM, VBS staff will contact the listed parent/guardian and/or emergency contacts. If a child is still not picked up by 12:45 PM, Social Services may be contacted.

  • PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA USE: 

    We love capturing the joy of VBS! Photos and video of your child(ren) may be taken during VBS Kids Adventure Camp and used for the following purposes:

    • The VBS 2026 Highlights slideshow shown at the Closing Program
    • Worship services at The Sanctuary Lutheran Church (in-person Sundays and YouTube livestream)
    • Promotional materials for The Sanctuary Lutheran Church, including print, social media, and our website (FindSanctuary.ca)
