ENGLISH: Dubuque Unidos and the Dubuque Museum of Art invite Latinx, Hispanic and Indigenous artists, whether of descent or heritage, living within 300 miles of Dubuque to submit. Students, as well as upcoming and stablished artists of all ages, are welcome to submit.
Inspired by living between cultures, Entre Tonos highlights the many voices and artistic expressions of Latinx and Indigenous artists living in the Midwest. The exhibition welcomes portraiture, abstract work, photography, textiles, sculpture, installation, digital and mixed media pieces exploring themes of culture, identity, memory, abstraction, place, emotion, spirituality, transformation, and contemporary experience.
This exhibition will be displayed at the Dubuque Museum of Art's temporary home in the Millwork District from October 3, 2026 through Jannuary 2027. It will open alongside the Dubuque Latinx Fiesta, a free, family-friendly outdoor festival celebrating Latinx culture with live music, food, artisan vendors, and more.
Selection Process: Entre Tonos is a juried exhibition. Artwork will be reviewed and selected by a panel composed of representatives from Dubuque Unidos (the festival organizing committee) and the Dubuque Museum of Art. All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status via email.

Artwork Drop-Off (Entrega de obras): September 8th through 11th or by appointment (Artist is responsible for getting their artwork to and from the museum).
