  • Our AGM & Gear Swap are coming up soon (Thursday May 21st) and you know what that means! It's time for the first club trip of the season - our Annual Paddle with the President (will it be Lawrence Brennan again? There's only one way to find out!) down the Takhini River on Saturday May 23rd, 2026!

    Details
    8:30 AM – Meet at the Cousin’s Airstrip Rest Area (Alaska Hwy & N.Klondike Hwy)
    9:45 AM – Rendezvous at River Campground
    11:00 AM – Start Paddling
    4:00 PM – Take Off
    6:00 PM – Back at the Cousin’s Airstrip Rest Area

    Please make sure to bring enough food and water for the day as we will be stopping for lunch on the river. If you need to borrow YCKC gear, please email Erik (exec.director@yckc.ca), gear pick up will be during the Gear Swap! All participants must have a current YCKC membership, sign a 26/27 waiver and have appropriate gear.
