You must be a Pearland area Sophomore, Junior, or Senior to apply. Application is open May 19th, 2026-July 24th, 2026
Thank you for your interest in our YEC (Youth Environmental Council) The Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) Youth Environmental Council (YEC) is a group designed to create environmental leaders through advisory service. Students applying to be a part of YEC must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year from one of the 4 Pearland area high schools or you must be a Pearland Resident.

What is required?
Mandatory monthly meetings
Complete 30 hours of community service with KPB per school year, 15 hours each semester
Develop and complete a service project as a group.
