    Aspen Digital is proud to uplift and celebrate emerging leaders through the 2026 Aspen Cyber Summit Scholars Program. Applications are open until July 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET.
  • The Aspen Cyber Summit Scholars Program provides next generation cybersecurity professionals with the opportunity to engage with issues shaping the digital world and connect with experts across sectors. Applications are open to current students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs in the United States, as well as spring 2026 graduates.

    Scholars will:

    • Secure a complimentary ticket to the Aspen Cyber Summit, including access to our main stage keynotes, panel discussions, and fireside chats
    • Participate in exclusive virtual workshop sessions with top experts in cyber policy
    • Connect and network with Summit sponsors
    • Attend an invitation-only gathering at the Aspen Institute offices prior to the Welcome Reception
    • Receive financial support with lodging and transportation

  • Program Requirements

    Please note that if you are unable to meet the following requirements, you may not be eligible to participate in the 2026 program.
  • Prior to the Summit in November, Scholars will be required to attend two closed-door virtual sessions with senior experts in cyber policy. These sessions will explore current trends in cyber policy, offer an opportunity for deep engagement with top leaders, and preview topics to be covered at the Summit. 

    • Aspen Digital Cyber Policy Workshop (September 16, 4-5pm ET): One hour virtual educational session for Scholars. Presentations from experts will cover a threat brief, a federal policy stakeholder mapping exercise, and an overview of key policy debates.
    • Roundtable Discussion with US Cyber Leaders (October 21, 1-2pm ET): One hour virtual topic-based roundtable discussion with leaders in cyber policy.

    All selected Scholars will receive financial support to attend in-person events in Washington, DC on November 17 and 18.

    • Aspen Institute Meet and Greet (November 17, 3-5:30pm ET): In-person session to meet the Aspen team and get to know the cohort prior to the Welcome Reception.
    • Aspen Cyber Summit Welcome Reception (November 17, 6-8pm ET): Exclusive networking event on the evening prior to the Cyber Summit for speakers, moderators, sponsor executives, and attendees.
    • Aspen Cyber Summit (November 18, 9am-5pm ET)
  • If selected, I confirm that I will be available to attend the two required virtual events on September 16 and October 21.*
  • If selected, I confirm that I will be available to attend all required in-person events on November 17 and 18 in Washington, DC, including the Meet and Greet, Welcome Reception, and Aspen Cyber Summit.*
