Logo Design Intake Form
  • Logo Design Intake Form

Welcome to the Hewitt&Co. intake form. Consider this a quiet invitation to drop your shoulders and settle in, much like finding a seat at our weathered timber table.

We invest time, thought, and precision into every project. While revisions are included, the more detail provided upfront ensures the first concept is strong and aligned.

Your logo is not the story; it is the invitation.

A logo is the visual shorthand for your reputation. It will live in many realities – stitched into fabric, embossed on a cover or turned in the palm of a hand. To survive these environments, it must be clean and deceptively simple.

Below, you will find a little about the process and the way we work. Feel free to lean in and read through our process, or if you are ready to find your voice, simply skip ahead to the questions and let’s get moving.

    The Foundation | Our Process

We don’t create for the sake of creating. Every mark we forge begins with understanding your story, your direction, and the message you want your audience to feel instantly. The questions below help us translate complex, unspoken values into a design that is strategic, distinctive, and built to last.

The Partnership | How We Move Together

Great design is a shared standard we protect together. Like any good conversation across a weathered timber table, it requires honesty and presence. To move forward with intent, we lean on these three values:

    • Clarity: We value honesty over comfort. We will speak openly about what works and why. We ask for that same directness in return; it keeps the work clean and the trust strong.
    • Shared Ownership: We take full responsibility for the standard of our work. We ask that you join us in protecting the process and the boundaries that allow us to create at this level.

    • The Standard: We don’t believe in "near enough". If it isn’t right, it isn’t finished. We treat your brand as a significant investment, ensuring the output reflects the weight of your commitment.

The Expression | Pricing & Inclusions

Logo design packages start at $850 + GST.

We treat your name as an investment, not a giveaway. We consider texture, weight, and longevity in every file we deliver. You will receive:

Primary Mark: A refined logo built to lead your brand.
Custom Symbol: A distilled mark designed for long-term recognition.
Variations: Alternative layouts to ensure flexibility across all platforms.
Master File Suite: All final files required for high-end print, digital media and marketing.
Branding Guide: A practical manual outlining your specific colour codes, typography and core brand elements.

     Logistics & Timeline

    Current timeframe: 5–7 weeks.

Once your form is submitted, you’ll be added to our design schedule. A 50% deposit is required to secure your project; this becomes non-refundable once the creative process has commenced.

We manage the unglamorous essentials—deadlines, printers, and logistics—with the same reverence we give the creative work. If circumstances change after submitting your form, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations once work has started may incur a fee to cover the time invested.

This ensures your brand remains consistent and recognisable across print, digital, signage, merchandise and social platforms, without compromise or distortion. Each variation is purpose-built to give you flexibility while protecting the integrity of your brand.

    Colour Palette Definition
Your colour palette is carefully selected to reflect the personality, values and positioning of your brand. We define primary and supporting colours, including exact colour codes for print and digital use, so your brand always appears cohesive, professional and consistent wherever it shows up.

    Typography & Font Selection
Typography plays a major role in how your brand communicates. We select and pair fonts that complement your logo and reinforce your brand’s tone, whether that’s refined, confident, modern or traditional. Clear guidance is provided on how and where each font should be used, ensuring consistency across all future materials.

    Symbol & Illustration Style
Where appropriate, we define a complementary symbol or illustration style that aligns with your logo and overall brand aesthetic. This adds consistency across marketing materials, digital platforms and supporting graphics, helping your brand feel cohesive rather than pieced together.

  • 3. Purpose & Direction

Understanding the role of the logo ensures the design is purposeful, not decorative.
  • What role does this logo need to play?*
  • Where will this logo primarily live?
  • Are there any immediate applications we should be aware of?
  • 4. Audience & Positioning

Strong identities are built around who they're for, not personal preference.
  • What should someone understand about your business at first glance?
  • 5. Brand Foundations

This helps us design with respect for history, context, and meaning.
  • Strategy | Branding Experience Add-on

This session is designed for businesses at any stage.  From those just starting out and finding their rhythm, to those established but feeling too close to see things clearly.

It creates the space to step back and look at your business as others do.

We work through how your business is showing up, what people are picking up in those first moments, and how that compares to what you’re trying to communicate. From there, we bring it back to the core . Your customer, your presence, and the experience you’re creating.

Sometimes that means grounding a start-up in what they’re building and who it’s for.
Sometimes it’s reviewing how an established business is being perceived and where it’s misaligned.
And often, it’s working through how everything connects — from brand identity and design through to merchandise, marketing and the way your story is carried across it all.

There’s no fixed structure, because no two businesses sit in the same place. What remains consistent is the outcome.

Clarity in how your business is being seen. Alignment in how it’s carried. Confidence in what comes next.

Following the session, you’ll receive a comprehensive review capturing what was uncovered, where the gaps sit, and the direction forward.
