  • 🛍️ Makers Market™ Vendor Option

    Our Makers Market™ is a curated vendor section created for artisan creators, handmade brands, specialty snack vendors, affordable food concepts, and emerging small businesses looking for a flexible and lower-cost way to participate in the 5th Annual Taste of the DMV Festival.

    This section is designed to support creativity, culture, community, and accessible pricing while still giving vendors exposure at one of the region’s largest food, music, and community festivals.

    MAKERS MARKET™ VENDORS MAY INCLUDE:
    • Handmade Goods
    • Small Artisan Products
    • Affordable Snacks & Quick Bites
    • Specialty Drinks
    • Small Boutique & Startup Brands

    This option is ideal for vendors with:
    • Smaller setups
    • Limited inventory
    • Shared table concepts
    • Compact food/snack operations
    • New or growing brands testing festival vending opportunities

    ⚠️ MAKERS MARKET™ REQUIREMENTS:
    • Products should generally be priced under $10 per item OR be in limited quantity
    • Designed for low-cost, compact, and emerging vendor concepts
    • Maximum setup size: 10x10
    • Shared vendor tables permitted (Maximum 2 brands per shared space. But fee is per brand under tent. So 2 vendors would be $400. General food vendors CANNOT share tent spaces  Both shared space vendors must meet artisan market requirements)
    • Both vendors sharing a space must be documented small businesses with verifiable social media pages, websites, or product listings
    • 6FT tent spaces permitted
    • 10x10 tent space options only
    • No food trucks, oversized setups, franchises, corporations, or large commercial vendors permitted
    • No ice cream, frozen dessert, or lemonade vendors permitted
    • Vendors may be placed throughout different areas of the festival based on category and event layout. No upgrades allowed. 
    • Vendor placement is assigned by festival management
    • All vendors are subject to festival approval

     

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Vending Options/Notes: 

     

     • You will be responsible for providing your own vending setup (tent, table & chairs) as well as power, unless discussed and approved in advance.

    • Electricity: You must supply your own electricity  

    • Generators: Vendors may bring quiet/inverter generators only. Loud or open-frame generators are not permitted.

    • No spaces will be held. Spaces are secured only after payment is received.

    • Load-In / Load-Out: Vendors must adhere to assigned load-in and load-out times. Early breakdown is not permitted.

    • Weather: This is a rain or shine event. Vendors are responsible for securing tents, displays, and merchandise.

    • Tent Requirements: All tents must be properly weighted per safety guidelines.

    • Space Size: Standard vending spaces are 10x10 unless otherwise approved. Additional space must be purchased.

    • Sharing Spaces: Booth sharing or subleasing is not permitted unless approved in writing.

    • Placement: Vendor placement is determined by event organizers. Premium, corner, and zone-specific placements are available as paid upgrades.

    • Payments: All vendor fees, add-ons, and upgrades are non-refundable.

    • No Call / No Show: Failure to appear results in forfeiture of all fees and assigned space.

    • Optional Add-Ons Available: Marketing features.

  • Acceptance Terms:

    Selected vendors will receive an acceptance letter/email and an invoice for their booth. Once booth fees have been paid, the vendor will be announced and listed on our social media and website. Please read through our terms/conditions and our cancellation policy.
