The Identity Visionary Scholarship is a $500 award recognizing a teen who embraces who they are beyond pageantry, sports, or extracurriculars.
This scholarship will be awarded to a young woman who leads with character, remains true to herself, and is either overcoming obstacles or courageously discovering her purpose.
Through my own journey—and through creating The Identity Project and expanding my mission with my WeCheer program alongside the Boys & Girls Club—I’ve seen firsthand how many teens struggle with tying their worth to what they do, rather than who they are.
We live in a culture that constantly tells us to prove ourselves. This scholarship exists to challenge that narrative. It stands as a reminder that you are already enough, already worthy, and already becoming everything you’re meant to be.
The Identity Visionary Scholarship celebrates young women who choose authenticity over approval and identity over expectation.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a 300–500 word essay in PDF format responding to the following prompt:
“Who are you beyond what you do? Describe a moment, challenge, or realization that helped shape your identity, and how it has influenced the way you lead, grow, and impact others.”
