  • PURPOSE
    The purpose of this policy is to ensure all employees accurately record their working hours and comply with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for First Rate Caregivers Health.
  • POLICY
    All employees are required to use the approved timekeeping and EVV systems to document their work hours honestly and accurately. Any falsification of time records is strictly prohibited.
  • TIME CLOCK FRAUD DEFINITION
    • Punching in or out for another employee (buddy punching)
    • Altering time records to reflect inaccurate hours
    • Failing to clock in or out as required
    • Claiming hours not actually worked
    • Manipulating EVV data or records
  • CONSEQUENCES
    Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, and potential legal action.
  • EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITY
    Employees are responsible for accurately recording their time and complying with all EVV procedures. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to management.
