AFEM x BMC: Meet The Experts

AFEM ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions will offer Brighton Music Conference attendees the opportunity to schedule meetings with experienced professionals in the electronic music industry to help elevate their business and get valuable one to one business advice with industry experts. Experts will be available from different fields within the electronic music sector.
Friday 22nd May , 2 - 3pm at Lazy Fin, Brighton Music Conference.
Each expert will have up to 4 x 15 mins slots each. To book a session please use the form below and select which expert you'd like a slot with. Please select only an expert if they have a direct relationship and benefit to your business and ideally only one slot to allow as many people as possible to meet the experts. Vicky Taylor (aka Vicky Devine) - Head of Creative & Licensing, Truelove Music | Electronic Music Rights & Sync Specialist, DJ & Producer - Working across publishing, sync, licensing and artist management/development within electronic music, with over 25 years’ experience spanning DJing, production, label management, Ibiza residencies and senior roles within the international live events sector.
Ashley Howard - Relationship Manager, PRS for Music - A world-leading rights management organisation that ensures music creators are paid whenever their music is streamed online, played in nightclubs, broadcast on the radio, and beyond. Ashley supports dance music creators and their representatives by serving as a link between the electronic music community and the rights and royalties that underpin it.
Rhys Baker - Tru Thoughts - Label manager at award-winning Brighton independent Tru Thoughts and its publishing wing Full Thought Publishing, working with an acclaimed roster including Moonchild, Quantic, Alice Russell, Hot 8 Brass Band, Tara Lily, Ebi Soda, Flowdan, and many more.
Bobby Lambkin-Williams – Music industry accountant – Based in Brighton, I work with clients across the industry from upcoming producers, DJs and artists, to labels, management and publishers. I’m here if you need a financial wingman to help you navigate the financial side of your passion.
Sean Keenan - Founder of Soundboard Music, a legal services business specialising in the music industry. He works alongside artists, managers, and music businesses to help them understand their rights, negotiate better deals, and build smarter commercial foundations. Originally from Australia, he has spent fifteen years working as a music lawyer on both sides of the world, covering everything from recording and distribution to publishing, licensing, and AI. His approach is practical and plain-speaking; the aim is always to help creative people move confidently through the business side of music without getting lost in the legal weeds. He is also an avid electronic music fan and sometime DJ, which he considers essential professional development.
Richard Morris – COO, Syncvault - London-based music marketing and royalty optimisation platform working with labels, managers, MCNs, and creators worldwide. Specialising in innovative mass promotion, YouTube security and compliance, and revenue boosting, as part of a wider catalogue growth strategy.
Silvia Montello - Senior music industry executive with over 35 years experience across the full music ecosystem, including major labels, independents, distributors, publishers and music tech platforms. Silvia consults for and advises artists, labels and music tech platforms across a range of different areas to help them grow audiences and businesses.
Ralf Kollmann formed mobilee in partnership with Anja Schneider, and what began as a side project quickly expanded into a fully-fledged career as mobilee blossomed from a small, homegrown label into a full-on music and entertainment enterprise. mobilee is committed to facing the realities of rapid change within the music industry, and adapts to technological and cultural transformations through a continual process of re-invention. The Management entity I-AM-MGMT (Individual Artists and Music Management) is looking after artists like Rodriguez Jr., Squire or M.E.M.O beside all MOBILEE related special projects.
