How to apply for the 2026 Denbigh Day Festival for Vendor/Exhibitors

APPLY

Use this form to apply as a Vendor/Exhibitor (Crafters, Special Activity Participants, Non-Profit Organizations and NN Government Department and Offices) for the Denbigh Day Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10am - 2pm at Courthouse Way Community Center (14302 Old Courthouse Way). You must submit the completed application and signed agreement by the deadline.

MEET DEADLINE

Your application must be submitted by Monday, August 24, 2026 by 5pm.

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION

Notice of acceptance will be emailed by Monday, August 31, 2026 from the City of Newport News Parks and Recreation Department (only). Submission of this application does not guarantee selection or participation in the event.

RECEIVE ASSIGNMENTS

Booth assignments and important set-up information will be emailed by the week of August 31, 2026. If you change your email address at any time during the application process, please notify us immediately.

SET UP TIMES & PROCEDURES

Set-up time is from 7:00am - 9:00am. Booths must be set up and ready by 9:30am. Vehicles will need to be moved from the event area by 9:00am, and will not be allowed in after that time.

BREAKDOWN TIMES & PROCEDURES

You must stay until the conclusion of the event and vehicles are not allowed to travel in and out of the event site once the festival has begun. Breakdown will be at 2:00pm or until the "all clear" has been given from event staff.

CRAFT VENDOR REQUIREMENTS

Provide photos of your booth and items you are selling at the event.

Items with vulgur, obscene language or images will not be considered or accepted.

Items with copyrighter images, tag lines, or logos will not be accepted.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All vendors/exhibitors are responsible for providing their own tents with tent weights, tables, chairs, and electricity. The city will not be able to provide tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, linens, or electricity.

I have read and understand the rules and regulations of the Denbigh Day Festival. I certify that I am the representative for my organization/business. I further understand that I may be asked to leave the show if Staff deems that I have misrepresented myself and/or my work, or if I do not abide by the regulations of the show. I agree to hold the City of Newport News harmless for any loss or damage to my person or property including, but not limited to, loss of fees and revenues due to the last minute cancellation of the show.
