Each year, GLMA honors individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to LGBTQ+ health. We invite you to help us recognize those making a lasting impact—through clinical care, research, education, advocacy, or community leadership.
2026 Achievement Award Categories:

1. The Lifetime Achievement Award: A career of transformational impact

2. The Achievement in Research Award: Advancing LGBTQ+ health through scientific discovery

3. The Achievement in Practice Award: Excellence in patient care and clinical leadership

4. The Achievement in Advocacy Award: Championing policy, equity, and systemic change

5. The Early Career Achievement Award (open to students, trainees, & early career professionals): Emerging leaders shaping the future

6. The Local Community Leader Achievement Award: Impact aligned with the conference Washington community
