BBQ Cookoff Junior 2026

Junior BBQ Cookoff

One HOT Cookoff September 26, 2026. Contest will be located in Waco, Tx at the Extraco Events Center. This contest is in conjunction with the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo.
All Junior Cookers must be between the ages of 8-14
All Junior Cookers will be provided with a BBQ Pit, Charcoal, Competition Meat (2 pieces), and an Apron.

Registration Guidelines:
25 entries with paid fee of $30.00
Each child must have adult supervision at all times by no more than one adult
Confirmation of acceptance will be sent by mail or email to the address on file

7:30 am Check in opens

8:00 a.m. Cooking Seminar - Guest Celebrity Chef

8:30 a.m. Cooks Meeting

9:00 a.m. Fires lit and Cooking Begins

9:30 a.m. Turn-In Deadline/Judging begins

Awards will be presented as soon as judging ends.

Prizes for 1st and 2nd place
Each Junior Cooker will take home their grill and apron
