    Silent Auction

    Held each April, our Silent Auction is one of our largest fundraisers of the year and culminates in a major community event at SweetPlay. In addition to auction donations, businesses are welcome to display promotional materials in our auction room. All contributions help support this highly attended community event.

    Back to School Carnival

    Our Back to School Carnival, typically held in August, is one of our most well-attended events, drawing a large crowd of families, students, and community members. This high-energy event offers great visibility and a fun way to support our school.

    Fun Run

    The Fun Run, typically held in September, is a school-wide fundraising event where students run as many 0.1-mile laps as they can in 20 minutes. Families pledge support to help raise funds for Northridge Elementary, and we celebrate everyone’s efforts with a fun and exciting Prize Day! Students also wear and take home Fun Run shirts featuring our Platinum Sponsors’ logos on the back.

    Multi-Cultural Night

    Our Multi-Cultural Night, typically held in September, is a vibrant, community-wide event that celebrates the diverse cultures within our school. Families host booths featuring traditional foods, displays, and activities, along with live cultural performances. This popular event draws a large crowd and offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with our community.

    Veterans Day Celebration

    Held each November, this special event honors the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Students are invited to bring family members or friends who have served to enjoy a complimentary breakfast and a heartfelt program featuring student performances. This meaningful community event welcomes approximately 200 students, veterans, and family members each year.

    Holiday Shop

    The Holiday Shop gives students the opportunity to purchase affordable gifts for family and friends in a fun, festive setting at school. This popular event helps students experience the joy of giving while supporting our school community.

    Typically held in January, this community-focused event brings families together for an evening of Bingo, food, and fun. It’s a great opportunity to connect, build relationships, and enjoy a lively night with our school community.

    The Read-a-Thon is a school-wide fundraiser held in February that encourages students to build a love of reading while raising funds for Northridge Elementary. Students track their reading and gather support from family and friends, making it both an educational and impactful event.

    Breakfast with Buddies, typically held in May, is a special community event where students are invited to share a morning with a parent, guardian, grandparent, or special guest. This welcoming gathering provides time to connect, enjoy breakfast together, and strengthen relationships within our school community.

    Spring Flowers & Gardening

    Each spring, we refresh our school grounds with flowers and maintain our vegetable and flower gardens. Donations of plants, flowers, and gardening supplies help keep our outdoor spaces vibrant and engaging for students.

    Senior Walk Through

    Held each spring, our Senior Walk celebrates Northridge alumni as graduating seniors return to walk the halls of their elementary school one last time. Students and staff line the hallways to cheer them on and celebrate their accomplishments as they prepare for their next chapter.

    Kindergarten & 5th Grade Graduation

    Held each spring, our Kindergarten and 5th Grade Graduation celebrations recognize important milestones for Northridge students. Families gather to celebrate our kindergarteners as they complete their first year of elementary school and our 5th graders as they prepare for the transition to middle school.

    Staff Appreciation 

    We celebrate and support our teachers and staff throughout the year, especially during busy times like conferences. Donations help provide meals, snacks, and small tokens of appreciation for approximately 80 people.
