Data Exchange Consent
The Anchor Project is funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS). As part of this funding, Little Dreamers is required to collect certain information and report outcomes through the DSS Data Exchange.
What is the Data Exchange?
The Data Exchange is a secure reporting system managed by the Department of Social Services. It helps the government understand how funded programs are supporting participants and informs future policy, research, evaluation, and program development.
How is my information used?
To meet reporting requirements, Little Dreamers may collect and store some personal information in the Data Exchange, including:
- First name
- Last name
- Street-level address
The Department of Social Services does not have access to your identifying information. Any data used by DSS is de-identified, meaning your personal details are removed before the information is used for reporting, research, or evaluation purposes.
Little Dreamers is the only organisation that can access your identified information.
Do I have to provide consent?
No. Providing consent is voluntary.
If you do not consent:
Your personal information will not be stored in the Data Exchange.
Little Dreamers can still record non-identifying demographic information and continue to support your participation in the program.
