HDH WEBER CAMPOUT
JUNE 11-14, 2026
Weber Reservoir is located on the Walker River Paiute Reservation between Schurz and Yerington.. Horse camping is dispersed with dry camping and no amenities for horses or humans. HDH has rented a porta-potty for your use during camp. Please bring your own water (there is also a creek close by) and portable corrals, or you can tie/hi-tie from your horse trailer.
COST for 3 nights:
- $10 per person (porta potty fee)
- $40 (includes $20 permit fee for 3 nights & $20 recreational fee)
Permit & recreational fee must be purchased from Four Seasons Market (directions included with driving directions below.)
RIDE INFO:
Ride out time will be at 11am each day or on your own. HTAP hours eligible. Riding on your own is through the honor system. Boots or shoes are recommended.
MEALS:
Camp hosts Kelly, Linda and Debbie will be providing breakfast each morning.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO WEBER RESERVOIR FROM YERINGTON:
- At the 4 way stop in Yerington take US 95A East
- Go 16.2 miles (you will see the sign for Walker River Paiute Reservation – you are now on the reservation.)
- Enter Weber at the Weber Reservoir sign.
- The road is not paved and is rough in places. It will be 2.6 miles to the campsite.
- Follow the road as it curves to the LEFT just past the RR tracks. Keep following the road – go past the bathrooms
- Go past the One Lane Bridge (it will be toward your left) – road curves slightly to the RIGHT.
- The road dips down – the camp is on the LEFT.
CAMPING PERMIT NEEDED
To get a camping permit you will have to go past Weber Reservoir.
Go 6.7 miles and turn Right onto US 95 South.
Go .6 miles and the Four Seasons Market is on the LEFT to purchase your camping permit.
