  • About the Show

    Are you ready to fly to Neverland? Come be a part of this new broadway musical “Finding Neverland” about how the brilliant J.M. Barrie was inspired to write the beloved play Peter Pan which redefined children’s theater in 1904. This exquisitely crafted musical blends the whimsical imagination of children with the beautifully tragic reality of life. The music is memorable, story captivating and the witty characters will cause uproarious laughter. Lots are character actors needed, trained dancers and anyone with an imagination that likes to play! So follow the second star on the right and sign up to audition for Triune’s latest marvel.
  • Audition Dates

    Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th 6-9pm. Pre-registration is required and choice of dates and times are below on this form. Auditions will take place at Journey Theater, 4175 Bludau Dr, Warrenton, VA
  • What to Prepare

    Please bring in sheet music for a prepared 16 bars (or under a minute) musical theater song. An accompanist will be provided. We will also accept pre-recorded instrumental music that can connect to a bluetooth speaker. Unaccompanied singing is not preferred. We expect that your vocal and movement performances will also demonstrate your storytelling and acting abilities! A video audition option, while not preferred, will be available in special circumstances.
  • Callbacks

    Callbacks will be on Wednesday July 29th, from 6pm - 10pm. You will be notified by email if you are called back for a specific character by July 17th. Please review the materials for each role you are called back for.
  • Performance Dates

    Performances will take place in the Journey Theater at 4173 Bludau Drive, Warrenton, VA from October 23rd - Nov 1st, 2026. There are eight total performances, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday Matinée shows at 2:30pm for the first weekend. Second weekend will be a Thursday and Friday shows at 7pm, Saturday and Sunday Matinee shows at 2:30pm. Tickets for reserved seating will be available via the Triune Entertainment Website at www.triuneentertainment.com.
  • Rehearsal Schedule

    You'll receive your performance materials at a meet & greet evening a few days after casting. Rehearsals will begin the week of August 10th You will not be required at every rehearsal. We will try to work with your schedules and respect your time as much as possible. Most rehearsals will be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. We will try not to have children at rehearsals past 9pm. During the final two weeks prior to the production, you should expect to be called every week night and on Saturdays (October 12 - 22).

    Character Breakdown: 

    J.M. BARRIE

    A successful Scottish Playwright with a rebellious, childlike spirit that is entirely benevolent. He is at odds with the sensible, restrained world around him. Must have an excellent tenor voice.
    Scottish Accent preferred.
    Male, Mid 30’s – 40’s.
    Vocal Range  Ab2 - A4
     
    CHARLES FROHMAN & HOOK 
    A wealthy American impresario who has stood by Barrie for much of his career. Known as “The Napoleon of Drama”.  Must have comic timing. 
    Might double as HOOK – JM Barrie’s darker, alter-ego with a sense of humor. Must have an excellent bari-tenor sound. 
    Gender & Age: Male, 50’s.
    Frohman’s Vocal Range B2 - G4.   
    Hook’s Vocal Range C#3 - E4
     
    SYLVIA LLEWELYN DAVIES 
    A recent widow and mother of 4 boys, she encourages her boys to be free thinkers and is one herself. Must have a strong belt and mix as well as strong soprano notes. 
    British Accent preferred.
    Gender & Age: Female, 20’s –30’s.
    Vocal Range F#3 - F5.
     
    MRS. DU MAURIER 
    A socialite and mother of Sylvia, She holds social etiquette in high esteem and wants her daughter to do the same. Steely on the outside, but wants the best for her daughter and grandchildren. She has a dry sense of humor. 
    British Accent preferred 
    Gender & Age: Female, 50’s – 60’s. 
    Vocal Range C#4 - E5
     
    THE LLEWELYN DAVIES BOYS (between the ages of 5 – 15) all singers 
     
    GEORGE LLEWELYN DAVIES 
    He is the oldest of the Davies boys. George is most sensible and mature though still able to play and have fun. Should have an unchanged voice or be able to sing in tenor range to E5. 
    British Accent preferred. 
    Gender & Age: Male, to play 12-15 years old. 
    Vocal Range G3 - E5
     
    JACK LLEWELYN DAVIES 
    He is the second oldest of the boys, He is the naughtiest and most outlandish, but even his cheek comes from a good heart. 
    British Accent preferred. 
    Gender & Age: Male, to play 9-13 years old. 
    Vocal Range A3 - Eb5
     
    PETER LLEWELYN DAVIES 
    He is the second youngest of the boys. Peter is buried under the grief of losing his father. Thoughtful and considered, initially angry and contained, he goes on a journey from 'not believing' to opening up and embracing the world of magic and play that Barrie presents to him. British Accent preferred. 
    Gender & Age: Male, to play 7-11 years old.

    MICHAEL LLEWELYN DAVIES 
    He is the youngest of the boys, is also possibly the loudest and most confident in his actions and his statements. 
    British Accent preferred. 
    Gender & Age: Male, to play 6-9 years old.

    *MARY BARRIE 
    The wife of J.M. Barrie, she cares about the trappings of society. She and her husband do not share the same interest and live progressively separate lives. Must have a strong belt sound as well as strong soprano. She will also be a part of the ENSEMBLE. 
    British Accent preferred. 
    Gender & Age: Female, 20’s –30’s. 
    Vocal Range E4 - D5
     
    *PETER PAN AND WENDY - 
    Must be an excellent dancers and actors. Okay with being lifted and carried around the stage. Will also double as ensemble.
    British Accent preferred.
    Gender & Age: Female, open to a male for Peter) 12 - 20s.
     
    *LORD CANNAN 
    A high society sought by Frohman to invest in the theatre. He scandalously falls in love with Mary Barrie and must have good comic timing. He will also be a part of the ENSEMBLE. British Accent preferred.
    Gender and Age: Male, 30s-50s
     
    *MR. CROMER 
    Most phony and pretentious of the actor’s troupe. Must have good comic timing. Will also double as ensemble. 
    British Accent preferred.
    Gender & Age: Male, 30s - 60s.
    Vocal Range: Baritone.
     
    *MR. HENSHAW 
    He tries to make the best out of his part, he left the company to play Richard the III and is horrify to play Nana the dog. Must @[Cast Size: Medium (22-24 performers)
    British Accent preferred.

    Vocal Range: Baritone.
     
    *MR. TURIN 
    Part of the acting troupe. Must have good comic timing. Set to play  Mr. Darling and Captain Hook in Barrie’s play. Will also double as ensemble.

    Vocal Range: Baritone.
     
    *MISS BASSET 
    Part of the acting troupe. Must have good comic timing. Set to play one of the lost boys, Nibs.  She wants to “Live and breathe” her character. Will also double as ensemble. 
    British Accent preferred.
    Gender & Age:  20s - 60s
    Vocal Range: Soprano.
     
    *MISS JONES 
    Part of the acting troupe. Must have good comic timing. Set to play one of the lost boys, Tootles. She is curious about her part along with Miss Basset. Will also double as ensemble.

    Vocal Range: Soprano.
     
    *ELLIOT
    Works to Frohman as Stage Manager of the theatre. Young and working his way up. He does the grunt work for Frohman.

    *ALBERT, THOMAS and EMILY 
    Servants to the Barrie’s. Must be good dancers. Must have good comic timing.

    **ENSEMBLE** 
    We are seeking a physical, versatile ensemble to play multiple roles. Ability to play multiple characters, a British accent, physical movers and/or dance experience desired. Each ensemble member is unique. Ensemble will portray SERVANTS, ACTORS and characters within the story of PETER PAN so physicality will be a plus. Looking for around 8 Female and 8 Male Ensemble Members to play some of the above roles as well as others.

  • Assumption of Risk & Media Release

    Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Photo/Video Release. 1. Assumption of RiskI acknowledge that participation in a theatrical production involves certain risks, including but not limited to:Physical activity such as dancing, stage combat, moving scenery, and other performance-related movements;Use of stage equipment, props, costumes, lighting, and sound equipment;Exposure to loud sounds, special effects, or theatrical lighting;Possible physical contact with other participants; Risk of minor or serious injury.I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the released parties. 2. Release of Liability In consideration of being allowed to participate in this production, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Triune Entertainment, LLC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and venue owners from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liabilities arising out of or related to any injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 3. Medical Treatment In the event of injury or illness, I consent to receive emergency medical treatment deemed necessary by production staff or emergency responders. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.4 . Conduct & Safety I agree to follow all safety rules and instructions from the production staff. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the production without refund or compensation. 5. Photo, Video, and Media Release I grant Triune Entertainment LLC the right to photograph, video record, and otherwise capture my likeness during rehearsals, performances, and related events. I authorize the use of these materials for promotional, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation. 6. Minors If the participant is under 18, this form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. The undersigned parent/guardian acknowledges the minor’s participation, assumes all associated risks, and agrees to the terms of this release on behalf of the minor.
