AAOMR Awards Submission Form - 2026

*PLEASE NOTE: All awards require at least one nomination letter or letter of recommendation. Applications will only be considered if all letters are received no longer than 15 days after the submission deadline (i.e. July 15th, 2025). These letters must. (1) include the candidate's name and award they are applying for in the name/title of the document, and (2) be sent to info@aaomr.org directly from the reference person - letters submitted by candidates will not be considered.

Charles R. Morris Award

The award will be open to dental students and dental hygiene students from accredited dental and dental hygiene programs who, at the time the research was carried out, were full-time pre-doctoral or undergraduate students. The manuscript must be accompanied by a nomination from the institution in which the research was carried out. Applicants should be members of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology or should have applied for membership at the time of application.

Albert G. Richards Award

The award is available to students enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology graduate program at the time of receiving the Award. Applicants should be members of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology or should have applied for membership. Funded projects should involve research in some area of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

William H. Rollins Award

The award is available to students enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program as well as to faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in either the tenure or non-tenure track. Applicants should be members of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology or should have applied for membership at the time of application. The body of completed research should pertain to Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Previous awardees are not eligible.

Howard H. Raper

The award is given to a graduate student who is in the second or third year of an oral and maxillofacial radiology graduate or postgraduate educational program at the time of application. The candidate's nomination for the award must be made by the program director. Applicants are not eligible for the Radiology Centennial Scholarship Award.

Radiology Centennial Scholarship

The award is available to students enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology graduate program beyond the first year at the time of applying for the Award. Previous winners of this Award are not eligible. Applicants are not eligible for the Howard R. Raper Award. Applicants should be members of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology or should have applied for such membership.
