We’re thrilled that you’re interested in joining our growing community of local makers, bakers, and artisans. Busia’s XOXO is more than a storefront—it’s a place where creativity, nostalgia, and community come together. Below you’ll find important information about becoming a local artisan with us.

Artisan Details:

Monthly Shelf Fee for local artisans is $20 per month. This will be one shelf in a centralized booth for artisans. Layouts of shelves vary.

Sales and Payments:

Sales Tax: Processed and remitted by Busia’s XOXO. Sales Reports will be sent out to each vendor summarizing your transactions weekly on Fri/Sun. Credit Card Fees: Fully covered by Busia’s XOXO—no deductions from your sales. Sales Payments: Vendors receive payouts via Square or Venmo based on reported daily/weekly totals. Payments are made bi-monthly every other Friday.

Inventory & Operations:

Inventory: Vendors may restock, rotate, or refresh displays weekly. Based on sales, if you need to refresh your booth, you can always reach out to us! It will be your responsibility to maintain your booth. Inventory will be entered into our Square System; all Artisans will receive a dedicated code to label products with. You will be responsible for providing a list of these items to be entered into our system when refreshing your booth.

Online & Physical Sales: Your products will be available both in-store and through our online shop, allowing customers from across the USA to purchase your items.

Advertising:

Busia’s XOXO provides marketing through social media platforms, local advertising, and collaborative promotions. We advertise directly with Racine County Eye and we are also a part of the Downtown Racine Corporation and are heavily inundated with Social Media.

Events & Opportunities:

Vendors are encouraged to participate in special events, pop-ups, and workshops hosted by Busia’s XOXO throughout the year. These events are designed to promote your products, connect with customers, and strengthen our creative community.
