The vibrant spirit of Latin cultures is coming to life at Latin Fest 2026, set to take place Saturday, September 5th, 2026, from 12-6pm at Galt Gardens Park in Downtown Lethbridge!

The SAEA Kitchen will be provided to members at no extra cost to cook the food for the event. Please provide the name of the cooking captain to coordinate booking time in the kitchen

Kitchen Cleaning

On the day of cooking your group has to clean the kitchen, take out garbage and return the kitchen in the same condition as was provided. Failure to do so will lead to a $50 + GST cleaning fee.

Event Insurance

**Event Insurance MUST be submitted in order to participate. Please email your certificate to events@saea.ca NO LATER THAN August 15th to be considered a vendor for this event. Information for Food Vendors

**Vendors will have to bring their own tables and chairs. There is no guarantee of functional power outlets at the Galt gardens so plan to being your own generators, bbqs or gas stoves so you are not dependent on power. Please keep your food affordable for this event so guests have an opportunity to try a bit from several vendors. **Vendors will not be able to participate unless AHS Health forms are submitted by the Due date of August 10th.**We reserve the right to decline vendors. Please post food handling permit at booth as part of set up. Set up will be available between 8 - 10 am on the day of the event. Vendors must be ready to go by 10:00 am as there will be an AHS inspection visit prior to the event starting. 8 am - Set up can begin for food vendors. 10 am -Food vendors must be ready for AHS inspection. 10:30 am-Vendor booths must be ready for 11 am event opening. 5:00 pm-Event ends.

Honorarium payable to: (Name to appear on cheque) (performers only)**NOTE: honorariums are only available if there is funding to cover this stipend. This is not guaranteed. Please determine your participation accordingly.

Agreement and Signature
**Please submit application first and an invoice will be sent to you in case you have signed up as a food vendor once application has been approved.
By submitting this application, you agree to the following terms:

1) No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable unless SAEA cancels the program or event.
2) Right to Deny Application: SAEA reserves the right to deny or reject any application at its discretion, including but not limited to incomplete submissions or failure to meet eligibility requirements.

I affirm that I will be participating on September 5th, 2026 and agree to all details set out in this application. If any changes are made that may affect any details in my application, I must notify Southern Alberta Ethnic Association immediately.

Disclaimer

Our services/events are subject to weather conditions. We prioritize safety and may postpone or cancel in the event of severe or unsafe weather.

Bad weather includes, but is not limited to: heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds over 25 mph, winter storms or official weather warnings issued for the area.

If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund. However, if weather conditions are unfavorable but the event proceeds, no refunds will be issued.
