Basic Carbine 1.5 Course is a range-focused follow-up designed to build on the fundamentals introduced in the Basic Carbine 1.0 class. This course emphasizes hands-on training in a safe and supportive environment, giving students the opportunity to continue developing their skills and confidence with a carbine platform. Participants will review and refine core fundamentals including safe firearm handling, proper stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, reloads, and recoil management. Through instructor-led drills and practical range exercises, students will work on improving accuracy, consistency, target transitions, and overall firearm proficiency. Whether you’re looking for additional range time, continued coaching, or more repetition to reinforce foundational skills, Basic Carbine 1.5 is an excellent next step in your training journey.

Registration Requirements: None, this class is open to club members and non-members.

Class Prerequisite: Basic Handgun 1.0

Class Requirements:
- State land requires a conservation license. A conservation license can be purchased on the FWP website for $8.00.
- Students are encouraged to provide their firearms. If they do not own one, the club may be able to provide a loaner for the class.
Range Class Requirements:
- Firearm
- Range bag
- Mags - at least two for each gun
- Magazine carriers/pouches - if you have them. No holsters, please.
- 300 rounds of ammo per person
- Speed loader
- Ear protection
- Eye protection (sunglasses are okay)
- Water Bottle + Snack
- Chair
Class Location: Class location will be provided upon registration confirmation.

Class Fee: $30.00
- Class fees help cover classroom and course materials.
- Class payment is due at booking via credit card.

I understand that this class is educational in nature and does not constitute individualized firearms training or legal advice. I agree to follow all safety rules, instructor guidance, and range protocols.

4. Legal Eligibility to Possess Firearms

I certify that I am legally permitted to possess and handle firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws.

5. Emergency Medical Authorization

I grant permission for emergency medical treatment if necessary and understand I am responsible for any related costs.

6. No Recording Policy

I understand that no recording (audio or video) is permitted during class sessions.
