Come learn about edible plants in our local ecosystem. Kevin Taylor will lead us on a short walk through an organic farm and nearby forest. We'll also explore along a spring-fed creek.
Beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike are welcome to come, learn and share knowledge. We'll take a close look at plants, do some tasting, collect if you'd like, and discuss ethnobotanical uses.
Kids 7 years and older are welcome to accompany an adult to this workshop. The cost for kids is $15. Please register them separately.
This workshop will run rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather. If it is a sunny day, please bring a sunhat, sunscreen and sunglasses, and don't forget your water bottle, a snack and a camera. You may also bring a trowel for digging roots and a small bag for collecting, if you'd like.
