    Opening Statement
In the Organization of Calypso Performing Artistes (OCPA), we strive to promote a safe, respectful, supportive, free and fair environment for all our constituents, namely our members, suppliers, partners including Calypso Tents, donors, staff, volunteers and patrons.  We believe in transparency and equality; and we respect diversity.  We endeavour to solve our problems by communicating with, and listening to one another in a respectful manner.  When we fail to find a solution ourselves, we seek appropriate assistance to do so.  All our constituents must comply with this Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct is a formal OCPA document intended to create an environment in which all parties feel welcome to make a contribution to the organization without fear of abuse, harassment, bullying, discrimination or physical harm.

OCPA remains committed to extending a broad artistic license for calypso artistes to produce and perform without fear of  censure or censorship. The Code of Conduct is not intended to stifle the creativity of lyricists, singers and/or composers.

This code of conduct will govern and assist in mediating any dispute that may arise.
