  • If a parent/guardian cannot be reached, Ski Lago staff may act on my behalf in seeking emergency medical treatment. In the event of an emergency, participants may be transported by emergency medical personnel for treatment if deemed necessary.

  • Safety & Conduct Acknowledgments

  • I acknowledge that:

    • Participants must be able to swim independently without flotation devices
    • Coast Guard-approved life jackets may be required during activities
    • Participants must follow all instructor directions
    • Unsafe behavior may result in removal from activities
    • Swimming ability does not eliminate water-related risks
       

    Campers may be required to:

    • Tread water for at least 1 minute
    • Swim a designated distance
    • Demonstrate comfort entering and exiting the water
    • Demonstrate comfort in open water
    • Understand and follow verbal safety instructions
  • Participants are expected to:

    • Respect instructors, staff, and fellow campers
    • Follow all safety instructions
    • Wear required safety equipment
    • Stay within supervised activity areas
    • Use appropriate language and behavior
    • Report unsafe behavior immediately
    • Stay hydrated throughout the day
       

    The following are prohibited:

    • Bullying or harassment
    • Roughhousing or horseplay
    • Running on docks
    • Private one-on-one isolated situations
    • Inappropriate physical contact
    • Inappropriate clothing
    • Unauthorized phone use during instruction
    • Entering restricted or unsupervised areas
       

    Restroom Policy

    Camp staff may provide verbal assistance and supervision but will not provide private restroom assistance unless previously discussed with a parent/guardian.

     Behavior Communication

    Staff may communicate behavioral concerns to parents/guardians at any time to help maintain a safe and positive camp environment.

    Unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal from activities or dismissal from camp.

  • Payment Information & Policy

  • A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a participant’s spot. Remaining balances are due 10 days prior to the selected camp date/week.

    Policy Updates

    Ski Lago reserves the right to update camp schedules, activities, policies, or procedures as necessary for safety, staffing, weather, or operational needs.

  • Risk, Liability & Releases

  • Acknowledgment of Risks

    I understand that participation in watersports and recreational activities, including but not limited to waterskiing, tubing, swimming, boating, trampoline use, dry-land training, balance activities, and related athletic activities involves inherent risks.

    These risks may include:

    • Slips, trips, falls, and collisions
    • Water-related injuries
    • Physical exertion
    • Exposure to weather conditions
    • Equipment failure
    • Serious bodily injury
    • Permanent disability
    • Drowning or death

    I understand that participation may involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated despite reasonable safety measures and supervision.

    I voluntarily allow my child to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.

  • Release of Liability

    In consideration for participation in Ski Lago camp activities, I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Ski Lago, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and property owners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in camp activities.

    This includes activities occurring:

    • On land
    • In or around water
    • During instruction
    • During recreational activities
    • During transportation between activities, if applicable
       

    This release includes claims arising from ordinary negligence but does not include gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

    • Camper conduct expectations
    • Pickup and drop-off procedures
    • Weather and safety policies
    • Payment and refund policies
    • Acknowledgment of risks
    • Release of liability
    • Photo/media release selections
    • Sunscreen authorization selections
       

    I understand that failure to follow camp safety rules or behavioral expectations may result in dismissal from camp activities without refund.
