Restore Games Resource Provider Waiver & Release Agreement
By participating as a Resource Provider for Restore Games, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in activities associated with the Jefferson county resource center/Restore Program and the City of Birmingham. I understand that participation may include event setup, breakdown, booth operations, public interaction, outdoor activities, distribution of materials, demonstrations, and other event-related activities.
I understand and acknowledge that participation may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activity, weather conditions, equipment handling, interaction with the public, and unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Jefferson county resource center/Restore Games, the Restore Program, the City of Birmingham, its departments, employees, officers, representatives, sponsors, volunteers, partners, affiliates, and event organizers from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, injuries, or causes of action arising from or related to participation in the event, including but not limited to bodily injury, illness, theft, property damage, or personal loss, except where prohibited by law.
I understand that Restore Games may photograph, videotape, or record portions of the event. By participating, I grant permission for my organization’s name, likeness, booth setup, representatives, photos, videos, and participation to be used in promotional materials, social media, marketing campaigns, press releases, and future event-related content without compensation.
I understand that Resource Providers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and safely while participating in event activities. Restore Games reserves the right to remove any participant, organization, or representative acting inappropriately, violating event guidelines, or creating an unsafe environment.
I acknowledge that my organization is responsible for its own setup materials, staffing, belongings, equipment, and cleanup unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver and release agreement.
