  • Welcome to the Lighthouse/ Be-Smart Summer School 

    A dynamic 6-week programme for children aged 5–12, combining fun, creativity, sports, science, and soft skills development. Each day is designed as a mix of play, discovery, and hands-on activities, where children learn through experience, curiosity, and interaction, while building confidence and independence along the way.

    🚀 Week 1: 22nd - 26th June : Exploring the Universe
    A fascinating journey through planets, moons, and galaxies, where children learn how space is explored. The programme combines discovery, observation, and simple experiments.


    🏰 Week 2 29th June - 3rd July: Castles, Knights & Dragons
    A fun and immersive week exploring the world of castles, knights, and dragons through hands-on activities, games, and creative projects.
    We combine history and simple science: how castles were built, how defences worked, and basic engineering concepts. There will also be a special focus on the medieval history of Cyprus.


    🐾 Week 3 6th -10th July: Pets & Vets Camp
    Children learn how to care for animals through play, science, and real-life veterinary tasks, guided by a professional vet.


    🌿 Week 4 13th-17th July: Young Explorers: Nature & Adventure
    A nature-based week combining simple botany, outdoor exploration, and hands-on activities. Children learn about plants, ecosystems, and the environment through play and discovery.


    🎨 Week 5 20th-24th July: Frames & Paintings: A Journey Through Museums
    Not your typical museum week! Children become young explorers, discovering unusual exhibits, solving fun challenges, and meeting “strange” museum characters along the way. Through games and creative activities, they’ll learn how exhibitions are created and by the end of the week, build their own mini “museum of themselves.”


    🌊 Week 6 27th -31st July: Hello, Is This the Sea?
    A travel-inspired week where children create their own traveller’s art journal and explore summer traditions from different countries, from Greece to Japan.

     

    💶 Cost:

    8:30 / 15:00-€250 per week

    8:30 / 17:00 €320 per week

    Registration fee €20 per child

    Discount offers

    • 10% discount for registrations of four (4) or more weeks
    • 10% sibling discount for the second and third child attending the programme
    • If siblings are both enrolled for four (4) or more weeks, the sibling discount increases to 15% for all participating siblings.

  • We might offer a bus service from IronFX and back if there is enough interest of 20 students. For indication purposes for 20 students bus cost will be €55 per week.

    We seek to register our child/(ren) in the Summer School (hereinafter referred to as the Service), co-organised by Lighthouse Private School and Be Smart Family Centre (hereinafter referred to as the Organisers). By submitting this form, we confirm that we have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions below.

    1. Payments towards the Service are not refundable or transferable, except in the event that the Organisers cancel the Service, in which case all payments received will be refunded in full.

    2. The Summer School is provisional and will only be offered if sufficient interest is received. Registered families will be notified of confirmation or cancellation no later than 31st May 2026.

    3. Parents/guardians are required to collect their child/(ren) punctually at the scheduled end time. The School reserves the right to charge up to €50 per instance in cases of repeated or significant lateness.

    4. The cost calculator is provided for guidance purposes only and is intended to assist in estimating costs. The amounts shown do not constitute a final invoice, are subject to change, and should not be relied upon as such. The Organisers reserve the right to correct any errors or discrepancies in the final invoice issued.
