Thursgay is excited to host our third PRIDE PAGEANT! To celebrate World Pride month this June, we're looking for amateur drag darlings, burly babes & dancing divas to compete for prizes & glory.
First prize: $1500 cash
Runner-up: $500 cash
Second runner-up: $250
Third runner-up: $250
+ other prizes TBA

ENTRY
Please read the criteria below before submitting your application:
* you must identify as LGBTQIA+ & be based in Victoria to enter
* this competition is aimed at performers in the amateur phase of their career - please only enter if this applies to you (ie. you aren't making a full time living off your art form)
* you are not elegible to enter if you qualified for the 2024 or 2025 Pride Pageant finale - sorry!
* you must be available to perform on the heat date/s you've nominated (based on the performance categories listed below) and in the final on Thursday, June 25
* please include a short bio, photo/s & a short video of you performing (this can be a brief clip just shot on your phone in your bedroom or a link to a video of you performing in a venue. Doesn't have to be professional at all!)
* you consent to being photographed & recorded during the competition, and give permission for Thursgay to use this material for event promotion and for our event sponsors to share on socials.
* entries close at 10am on Monday, June 8
SELECTION
Unfortunately not all applicants will be selected to compete due to capacity restrictions. You may nominate yourself for more that one heat if the category applies to you, but if selected you will only perform one number, in one heat round. Please check that you are available for the heat/s you nominate yourself in.
All performers selected will be paid $50 for their number.

Each performer selected will perform a number live on stage at Thursgay! There will be two winners selected in each heat: one picked by the audience & one by the judge/s. All heat winners will go on to compete in the final on Thursday, June 25.
