Welcome to Southern Districts Soccer Referees (SDSRI) 

We’re excited that you’re interested in joining our referee team with SDSRI! Refereeing is a fantastic way to stay involved in the game, develop leadership skills, and give back to the football community.

Eligibility
To be part of the program, you must be turning at least 13 years old in the 2027 calendar year.

Training Commitment
Ready to step onto the pitch? Here’s what it takes to be part of the Southern Districts Soccer Referees team:

To keep your skills sharp and your confidence growing, you’ll need to attend at least ONE training session each month.

• New referees — the more you attend, the faster you’ll improve (and the more fun you’ll have)!

Your Training Options
Field Training: Every Monday, 7–9pm during the season
Classroom Sessions: Once a month (Wednesday evenings)
Senior Classroom Sessions: Every 2 months (Wednesday evenings)
Think of it as your game prep — where fitness, knowledge, and confidence all come together.
