Coach Guidelines & Requirements

As a DHNS Youth soccer coach-mentor, you will be required to attend a meeting and complete an online training prior to coaching. Coach-mentors are expected to abide by rules, codes of conduct and expectations set forth by DHNS Youth Association, FWISD and any other partnering or governing organization.

DHNS Youth Association is seeking youth soccer coach-mentors for the summer developmental season (June-July). There is a small stipend of $250 that will issued to coach-mentors upon completion of the season. In addition, we will record and sign off on any community service hour requirements.

Please be prepared to meet the following requirements:

Coaches are expected to lead their own practice drills for 40 minute practices. A bag, ball, cones and whistle will be provided. Youth will be required to bring their own soccer ball to practice. Game balls will be provided.

Coaches will be required to complete an in-person training class on June 16th at 10:30am as well as an online training.

Coaches must be available on these dates:

Practice Dates: 6/23 and 6/30 from 6pm-8:30pm.

Game Days: 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28 from 6pm-8:30pm.
